Stained Glass Style Background Template
Written and Created by Debbie "Debz" Coates

What you need for this tutorial:
1. PSP 7 (This was written using PSP 7, but I'm sure it can be modified for any version.)
2. Any glass style flood fills
3. Filters Unlimited 2
4. This template

STEP 1
Open the template in PSP, shift D to duplicate it, close the original.

STEP 2
Take your magic wand and click every other inside rectangle, like the example below:

Add a new raster layer.

STEP 3
Find your flood fill that you want to use, open it. Now set your flood fill to pattern, and find your flood fill in the patterns cache. You can also put these in your patterns folder in your PSP folder as long as they are in .bmp format. Flood fill the rectangles. Selections > None. Move this layer to the bottom. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

STEP 4
Now take your magic wand again, and click on the rectangles that are empty. Add a new raster layer and repeat Step 3.

STEP 5
Take your magic wand again and click on the black lines. Selections > Modify > Contract by 2. Choose another glass flood fill and fill the selection. Selections > None.

STEP 6
Take your magic wand and click on the transparent area, Selections > Invert.

STEP 7
Effects > Filters Unlimited 2 > Edges, Square > Square Edge 03

Selections > None.

STEP 8
Now add a drop shadow with these settings:
V&H 0, Opacity 90, Blur 8, Color Black

STEP 9
Add any tubes you want to use, crop your image.

That's it! Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
