Funky Diamond Tag Tutorial
Written and Created by Debbie "Debz" Coates

What you need for this tutorial:
PSP 7
Any flood fill you wish to use
This template (created by me...leave file in tact please)
Any tube you want to use
Any tubes for decoration
I created this tag originally in PhotoImpact 8 while playing...everything is modified to do in PSP :)

Step One
Open the template (tut template!~Debz.psd), Shift + D to duplicate it. Close the original.

Step Two
Take your magic wand and click on the black. Flood fill with the pattern of your choice. Selections > None. Go to your layer palette and duplicate this layer. Click the glasses on the copy layer to turn it off. Click on your original layer on the palette to activate it.

Step Three
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow with these settings:
V&H 0
Opacity 100
Blur 12.5
Color Black

Step Four
Go to your layer palette and click on the glasses to reactivate the shut off layer. Click on it to highlight it. This layer should read Copy of Obj-1.

Step Five
Image > Resize > by 80%, make sure resize all layers is unchecked. Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen. Image > Rotate Left or Right > 90 Degrees.

Step Six
Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel with these settings:
Bevel Round
Width 6
Smoothness 5
Depth 10
Ambience 13
Shininess 12
Color White
Angle 315
Intensity 30
Elevation 50
Add the same drop shadow as before.

Step Seven
Open the tube you want to use. Ctrl + C on your tube, go to your tag image Ctrl + L to apply your tube to the center of your image. Apply another drop shadow with these settings:
Vertical Negative 2
Horizontal 20
Opacity 75
Blur 12.5

Optional Step
If you want to add accent tubes, add a new raster layer and apply your tubes. Use the 1st settings of the drop shadow on each accent. Then in the layer palette, move this layer behind your main tube.

Step Eight
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible. Select your crop tool. Go to the crop tool options box and select crop settings. Click on Select opaque area - current layer...OK. Image > Crop. Layers > Merge > Merge All (flatten). Resize if you choose. If you do resize, don't forget to go to Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen. You're done!

Here's mine and I can't wait to see yours :)

That's it! You can dress it up how you want. Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
