Blade Pro Diamonds Tag Tutorial
Written and Created by Debbie "Debz" Coates

What you need for this tutorial:
1. PSP 7 (This was written using PSP 7, but I'm sure it can be modified for any version.)
2. Blade Pro (Super Blade Pro will work also.)
3. Any Blade Pro Preset you desire.
4. Eye Candy 3.1

STEP 1
Open a new transparent image of 500 X 300. Open an image you want to use, any type of photo will do. Minimize your chosen photo.

STEP 2
Make sure your foreground color is set to white and your background color is off. Go to your Preset Shapes and choose Rectangle with these settings:
Antialias the only one checked - Line width 5 - #1 Solid line

STEP 3
Draw a rectangle in the middle of your transparent image. To make it center, line your cursor up at 250, 150. Hold the right click button of your mouse to make your rectangle centered. Make it as large as you want. Then select your magic wand and click the white line.

STEP 4
Go to Effects > Plugins > Flaming Pear > Blade Pro. Go to your presets and find the preset you want to use. I'm using D_goldshimmer. Click ok, then ok on the main screen. Deselect. Go to Image > Rotate and rotate right or left, free 45. Now hold shift and hit the D key to make a copy, minimize it for now.

STEP 5
Click on your magic wand and click anywhere within the diamond. Go to Selections > Modify > Expand and expand by 1. Now pull up the image you want to use and hold Ctrl and hit C. Close your photo. Now on the transparent image with the diamond, hold Crtl and Shift and hit L, your image should now be in the diamond.

STEP 6
Go to Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 3.1 > Inner Bevel and apply these settings:
Bevel Width 8 - Bevel Shape Round - Smoothness 5 - Shadow Depth 50 - Highlight Brightness 10 - Highlight Sharpness 1.
Hit the check mark.

STEP 7
Make a new raster layer. Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout and apply these settings:
V & H 3 - Opacity 100 - Blur 5 - Shadow Color Black.
Hit ok.
Now add another new layer and apply the cutout again, only this time set the V & H to -3.
Hit ok and deselect.
Go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

STEP 8
Bring up your copy of the diamond and go to Image > Resize and apply these settings:
Percentage of Original 50 - Make sure Resize all Layers is unchecked.
Hit OK.
Now go to Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen.
Hold Ctrl and hit C to make a copy and minimize the copy. Go to your original and hold Ctrl and hit L. Now grab the new diamond in your image and move it to either side. Take your magic wand and click the center of your new diamond.
Then Selections > Modify > Expand and expand by 1. Click on your eyedropper and choose a color out of your picture you chose to use. Fill in the area with this color.
Go to Effects > Plugins > Eyecandy > Inner Bevel and apply the same bevel as in Step 6.
Deselect.

STEP 9
Hold Ctrl and hit C to copy and then Ctrl and L to put it in the image. Now place this copy on top of the little diamond already there. Now go to Image > Mirror. Go to your Layer Palette and click the glasses on the larger diamond to hide it. Merge > Merge Visible the other layers and click the glasses on the large diamond layer to bring it back up.
Move the larger diamond to the front of the smaller diamonds on the layer palette.

STEP 10
Bring the copy of the diamond you made earlier and undo until it is back to the original size. Go to Image > Resize and use these settings:
Percentage of Original 120 - Make sure Resize all Layers is unchecked.
Hit OK.
Hold Ctrl and hit C to make a copy of it. Go to your other image and Hold Ctrl and hit L.
Go to Layers > Merge > Merge all flatten. Crop to make it a nice total size.
Here's mine! :)

That's it! You can dress it up how you want. Hope you enjoyed this tut and I hope you found it easy.
