Tates Creek led 41-29 early in the final quarter and withstood a late Lafayette rally to earn a 48-45 victory.  Tates Creek shot 38.1% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 36.7% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on seven of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off 20 Tates Creek turnovers.

Eric Hackett led Tates Creek with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  5-9 Fr. Dawson Garth added 11 points including three three point baskets and two steals.  Dekevien Duong recorded six points, three rebounds, and two assists.  Camdyn Combs chipped in with three points, 13 rebounds, and two steals.

Lafayette trailed 24-18 in the third quarter but rallied for a 43-41 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar.  The score was tied twice and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Lafayette shot 30.2% from the field including two of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady generals connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 30 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 39.5% from the field including seven of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored seven points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.

Savannah Simpson led Lafayette with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Gracyn Grantz added 11 points, three rebounds, and three steals.  Anaya Brown recorded nine points, seven rebounds, and six steals.  5-2 8^th Grade Anna Clay Denton chipped in with nine points including four of four free throws and two assists.

Madison Central buoyed by a 22-11 advantage in the third quarter earned their first victory of the season with a 66-59 win over Whitley County.  There were seven ties and 13 lead changes in the game.  Madison Central shot 39.1% from the field including fie of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 26 Whitley County turnovers.  Whitley County shot 37.2% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Colonels connected on 19 of 28 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers. 

Bailey Hensley led Madison central with 19 points and eight rebounds.  Eden Carter added 13 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and eight steals.  5-7 Jr. Chloe Freeman came up big tonight with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Brittany Campbell recorded 11 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  Kessaney Melton chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.
