Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Hezekiah Fogle, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.  Marshall County coach Terry Birdsong countered with 6-3 Sr. Kole Sedlock, 6-3 Sr. Colby Schroader, 6-4 Sr. Quinn Smith, 5-9 Jr. Wade Moore, and 6-0 Jr. Cole Mills.

 

Marshall County raced out to a 21-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 72-53 victory over Madison Southern.  Marshall County shot 60% from the field including three of five from the three point line.  The Marshals connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 42.2% from the field including nine of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Marshall County turnovers.

 

Cole Mills led Marshall County with 22 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and six assists.  Kole Sedlock added 20 points and five rebounds.  Quinn Smith recorded 13 points, three assists, and two steals.  Wade Moore chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and seven assists.

 

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 22 points including two three point baskets.  6-5 Sr. Nate Turner added 11 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.

Madison Southern defeated Washington County by the score of 80-69.  Madison Southern shot 50.9% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 19 Washington County turnovers.  Washington County shot 51% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Madison Southern turnovers.

 

Braden Hudson led Madison Southern with 31 points including four three point baskets, nine of 10 free throws, and four assists.  Jay Rose added 13 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds in only 15 minutes of playing time.  Blake Simpson recorded eight points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  6-5 Sr. Hezekiah Fogle chipped in with six points, six rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.

 

Noah Reynolds led Washington County with 16 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Kamar Phillips added 16 points including three three point baskets.  Jakobie Hughes recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  Beau Baker chipped in with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Gabriel Weis added eight points and four rebounds.
