Cleveland Dyke

The Cleveland Dyke was fun. Just an old quarry with a clear dyke in it. I found what I thought was an interesting lump of rock with some funny black crystals in it. I showed it to Jane who pointed out the the straight sides were natural and had slickensides on them! I kept it and now if ever I forget what a slickenside feels like I can rub my own rock. Oh dear, I don't think I dare tell any of my non-geologist friends this, they might have me committed.
