Mange:

Mange, an uncommon but highly contagious skin disease, is caused by various ectoparasites and characterized by loss of hair and scabby eruptions that fall off into the bedding, contaminating it.
The parasites are similar to those causing ear canker, so immediate action on your part is called for. These parasites burrow in the pores of the rabbit's skin, causing intense irriation.
Separate the affected rabbits as quickly as possible, burn the bedding, and disinfect the hutch thoroughly. Consult a veterinarian without delay.
The rabbit must be treated with a topical mange medication, similar to that of ear canker.
Be extremely careful yourself, as mange is also contagious to humans. When the hutches are cleaned scrupulously, however, mange will seldom trouble your rabbitry.
