EPISODE GUIDE
The Six Million Dollar Man

The Six Million Dollar Man is an unprecedented science-fiction television series set in the 1970s and based on the Martin Caidin novel "Cyborg".

Steve Austin is an astronaut and brilliant test pilot. While testing a revolutionary new aircraft for NASA on board a B-52 mothership, the device fails and sends Austin plummeting to the ground.

He barely survives and is dismissed as human scrap. However, during an exhaustive surgical process, Austin is rebuilt by Dr. Rudy Wells using cyborg technology, thus becoming the world's first bionic man.

We can rebuild him.
We have the capability.
We have the technology to make the world's
first bionic man.
We can make him better than he was before.
Better...Stronger...Faster.
