John 15
15 I no longer call you servants,
because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends,
for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
16 You did not choose me, but I
chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father
will give you whatever you ask in my name.

Joketime
When Mozart passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetery and heard some strange noise coming from the area where Mozart was buried. Terrified, the drunk ran and got the priest to come and listen to it.
The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognizable music coming from the grave. Frightened, the priest ran and got the town magistrate.
When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment, and said, "Ah, yes, that's Mozart's Ninth Symphony, being played backwards."
He listened a while longer, and said, "There's the Eighth Symphony, and it's backwards, too. Most puzzling."
So the magistrate kept listening; "There's the Seventh... the Sixth... the Fifth. ..."
Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned on the magistrate; he stood up and announced to the crowd that had gathered in the cemetery, "My fellow citizens, there's nothing to worry about. It's just Mozart decomposing."
HAPPY ST. PAT'S!
"Christ shield me this day: Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every person who
thinks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in the ear that hears me."
St. Patrick's Day was March 17. A parade of politicians marched down Columbus
drive that weekend in downtown Chicago. What did you do St. Patrick's Day?
"Nothing. There was a Sportsfest. I went to that," said Omar.
"I hadta work," said Yvonne.
"Oh, I didn't go anywhere. Well, we went to my aunt's house," said
Gretchen.

LOST AND FOUNDThe
newest Newsboys CD is all disco. I haven't heard all of it, and the little that I did hear
was kinda muffled because only one of my earphones worked and I was editing a paper at
that time. But I did hear the CD once through and thought I could hear it a second time
during the Loyola camp at UIC the weekend of March 23. But after the camp, I lost this CD
-- so if anyone's seen it, please let me know! E-mail me here.
