YFC-Campus-based
North America continues to grow. Gandhi de Paz joined one of Couples for Christ's more
elaborate mission trips, the Great Adventure Tour, and
learned about the ministry of campus-based. He discovered his potential for service, and
now serves as president of YFC-University of California at Davis.
Why was it so windy this weekend in NorCal? Why were there 10 to 15 foot swells off the beaches of Santa Cruz this Saturday? Why were there 30 mile per hour winds in the Sacramento area with gusts up to 45 and 50 mph? Why was there a hailstorm in Santa Rosa Saturday night? I'll tell you why.
Our God made His presence felt during the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for the campus based camp in Santa Rosa and the SFC CLP in the East Bay this past Saturday night (21 October 2000).
He came down from Heaven on a chariot of fire, with warhorses charging forward, 10,000 angels marching behind Him with trumpets blasting, and a spear of destruction pointed right at Satan's heart. Was His aim true?
It was so true that our God struck down Satan this weekend and proclaimed total victory in NorCal! And when our new brothers and sisters stood up for our Lord Jesus Christ with conviction, the angels in Heaven also proclaimed victory!!
I don't believe in coincidences anymore, I only believe in God's ultimate will.
I end this message with a prayer:
Lord God, thank you for the victorious weekend that just happened. Thank you for
proclaiming victory in NorCal. We humbly ask You to keep NorCal growing, but not just
NorCal, but all of California, and not just California, but all of North America, and not just North
America, but all the continents of the world!
We implore You, Lord, to please keep the leaders of YFC on fire for You, to be that lamp that
shines in the darkness. We ask You that this fiery spirit spread throughout all the areas.
And we ask that You please guide us by the Holy Spirit. We ask this through Jesus Christ,
our Lord and Savior. Amen!!! (Gandhi
