A North American CFC Mission Worker's stint usually lasts 1-2 years. They serve as stagehands, counselors, communication mediators, and more. Part-time mission workers are called mission volunteers. You need to have a Bachelor's degree and be familiar with CFC's culture. If you are interested in becoming a mission worker for CFC, contact your nearest couple coordinator.

Philippians 1
4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 Because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. |

In case you haven't
heard, here is a letter from Kuya Terry regarding Franny and her service as a fulltime
mission worker for CFC. Remember Franny,
the Loyola graduate who hasn't realized that she IS a Chicagoan and should move back here
to live the rest of her life with all her close friends? Yeah, that Franny. Poor girl,
she's still in denial. CFC Ministries, USA

From: Terry Savage
Date: February 26, 2001
Reason: Franny Castro
I was standing on the stage in front of over 1000 YFC members and Couple Coordinators. I
was going down my list of things that needed to be accomplished that Sunday morning of the
YFC Seattle conference. The next item up was a ceremonious announcement. I had not needed
to make this announcement before, and I allotted five minutes in the schedule. The
announcement was to recognize the fine service of our YFC fulltime workers, Patrick
Nethercott and Eleanor Chichioco that had completed their term of service and were moving
onto other fields of life and service. Routinely, I began the announcement and then everything but the routine began to happen. I was choked up. I love
these young people and respect them for the sacrifice of their lives to the Lord and all
of us. I had a hard time continuing without holding back my emotion.
The opportunity presents itself again, not in front of a large crowd, but no less filled
with love and respect. I would like to recognize the fine service of Franny Castro as a
Fulltime worker. Franny has completed her term of service and has begun to teach school in
the Southern California area.
Franny has been a great asset to the YFC of Southern California as a dedicated
Ate. She served under the direction of Noriel and Michelle Reyes and they have
always expressed how pleased they were to have the service of Franny. She has also been a
blessing to the whole CFC community in her service at the conferences. She served
tirelessly to make the conferences a great blessing for all our brothers and sisters. I
could always rely on Franny to get a job done. If I turned something over to her, I was
sure it was going to get done.
If you have the opportunity to thank Franny, I would appreciate that. Of course, her
greatest rewards will come from her Heavenly Father. Any encouragement from us will be an added blessing.
Sincerely in Christ,
Terry Savage
