Welcome to Lindsay Marie's page!! This page will update everyone on how Lindsay is doing.
Lindsay was born second! She weighed about 1 3/4 lb. and was about 13 1/4 inches long. She has brown hair!
Today is July 11th 2006. As I update the page I will adjust this date.
Lindsay has a couple of minor issues. Nothing to worry about though!! She has what's called a PDA. Basically there is a valve in the heart that is supposed to close when they are born, but her's hasn't closed yet. That valve has to close to get what she needs to her lungs. So they will have to give her some medicine that will make that valve close. They will begin that medicine tonight or tomorrow night.
Lindsay is also not digesting all of her food. They said that this is also because of the PDA in her heart. Again nothing to really worry about. All of this will straighten out when they give her the medicine.
Lindsay usually gets her way!! She is laid back but she wants it done her way!! She is so sweet!! She will hold your finger if you lay it in her hand. I held her hand for a long time yesterday. With her hand around my finger, all of her fingers are barely as wide as my fingernail.
