Since she is in a crib, they can start dressing her in baby clothes. We have to use the ones that the hospital supplies, but they are really cute!
She has really been doing good! She is gaining weight and breathing good! Her brain scans have been good too! She is going to have a very important and intensive one on Monday! They have to take her to the radiology department to do it. This scan will show the doctors more than they were able to look at with the previous more simple scans. They think that she is doing well and that her scan will be fine!! Also on monday she will have a couple of tests done to check up on her urinary track infection. They are just testing to make sure that she is still clear of infections.
She is also doing very good with her new CPAP ventilator. She is getting used to it and it isn't irritating her nose as much! They have been lowering her settings on it, and in a few weeks she will be ready for the next step. The next step will be no ventilator, but a small oxygen line in her nose. Also since she is on the CPAP now we don't have to wear gowns and gloves!
Please continue to pray for her! We are on track to bring her home in a couple of months!!
