Lindsay is doing really good. She finally opened her eyes for the first time!! YEAH!!! Also Her breathing is wonderful! They have been reducing her ventilator and will continue to reduce it until she is completely off of it!!
Also she is doing pretty good with her feedings. She is taking 4ccs every 6 hours and is expected to go up soon!
Her PDA is still there and they have decided to give her one more week before they start the medicine. They want it to close on its own and they think that it will.
Lindsay has had some scans on her brain and I will go into that a little. Forgive me for my hesitancy on going into great detail with this because we really don't and won't know alot until she is older. She has had some minor problems with her brain, but nothing that is serious. We had good news today on the scan that was done this afternoon and the outcome looks good. She should continue to improve and it looks like she will have a normal health life. Again it's too soon to really know the full effects of what is happening so I will not really go into all the details. Please keep praying for her to continue to improve!
