Ty and Lindsay Buffington's Birth

There have been a lot of changes since I first wrote below message. Please see their updates on their individual pages to follow their progress.

Hello everyone! Surprise!!!

I would like to officially introduce everyone to Ty Carl Buffington and his sister Lindsay Marie Buffington!!!

Here's some information on their birth!!! Thanks!

Ty was born on July 5th at 10:55 pm and Lindsay was born shortly there after at 10:57pm. Ty weighed around 1 1/4 lb. and Lindsay was around 1 3/4 lb. They were born at 26 weeks... very early!!

They have been fairly stable and are continuing to grow stronger every day!

Mom is doing great! She is recovering really well!

We are staying at the Ronald Mcdonald house in Iowa City. We will be staying there for about 2 months total. Since the twins are so delicate right now they will be spending all of their time in the Iowa City ICU. Hopefully they will eventually be transferred to Genesis in Davenport.

I would like to request that everyone pray for these angels! They need a lot of help right now and we know that God hears every prayer!

God is their shield and our refuge and we thank Him for bringing these two angels into this world! We ask Him to bless these angels with strength!
