Almost 115 days in the NICU and we are so close to taking her home!!! Lindsay has shown us how strong and how determined she is! She has proven that God works miracles! She has gone through so much and has been so strong! Now she gets to go home!
The doctors and nurses have done an amazing job! God really worked through them to save our little angel! God sent her to us in a way that no one would ever pick, but through all of this He has taught us all about faith and hope!
We have been put through a trial more difficult than most can imagine and we have finally made it through it. Our lives have been turned upside down and from it all we have learned so much.
We have learned that good family friends can never be taken for granted. We saw how our families and friends opened up their hearts and gave without expecting anything in return. When we didn't know how we could go on, there was ALWAYS someone there to give us the help and support that we needed.
Just the other day someone asked me to define a hero. I told them that when I think of a hero, I think of someone that gives without questions and that expects nothing in return. There have been so many "heroes" that have made it possible for us to bring our daughter home. There have been heroes that I have never met and that I don't even know their names... Then there has been our family and friends that have not only offered, but have given more than we could ever repay.
From the simple phone calls or e mails to the monetary donations, all of it has made it possible for us to stay almost 100 miles away from our house. The Ronald McDonald House is less than a mile away from the hospital, and all of your donations have made it possible for us to stay here close to our babies. Our neighbors have been taking care of our house and yard while we have been gone, and we couldn't have spent as much time here with our babies without them!
All I can say is thank you, but I know that everyone that has been there to support us doesn't even expect that. I just can't say it enough though! Thank you so much!
We're going to get Lindsay home, now we just have to get Ty home! We're going to do it and it'll happen soon!
