Day 11
Friday October 7, 2011
When we got up this morning we packed up most of our things because this is the last day we will be at Suncoast. It didn't take long because we didn't bring much stuff with us this trip and we had just gotten laundry done yesterday so everything was folded nicely for us.
For lunch we went to the Sundance Grill. Since we had dinner plans I opted for a light lunch of a bowl of chicken noodle soup and an order of toast. Dee got a smoked turkey sandwich. Everything was good and then we were off to the casino.
We played our usual ten play games and didn't do much of anything. We both hit a few quads but nothing major. I held my own for a change and cashed out even after redeeming $75 in free play I had from a mailer they sent me. Dee was up and down like a roller coaster, up one minute, down the next. She wasn't so lucky and lost $300.
We played some penny games to kill some time before dinner and cashed out with a decent $4 loss but got quite a bit of play out of it.
For dinner we met up with our friend Anne and family. We went to the buffet which was seafood night. I don't eat seafood so I stuck with the regular foods. The food was good and the prime rib melted in my mouth.
After dinner we played for a while and I lost $100 while Dee cashed out even on $1 video poker. While Dee and Anne were chatting I moved over to a penny Monopoly game and on my third spin hit a bonus that gave me 14 cannon shots. The bonus round had bonus rounds with in it and after about 15 minutes of bonus play I had a "BIG WIN" that racked up almost 13,000 credits. I promptly cashed out after this hit and we said our good-byes and came back to the Suncoast
We played some dollar video poker here hoping to strike a royal or even a few quads to keep going with. I didn't hit any quads and Dee only hit 2. They were only enough to keep playing for her and my lack of quads was a killer for me. Between us we dropped another $800 for the worst day of the trip as far as daily totals go.
Total win/loss for the day - $1100
Total Comps for the day $297
