Day 7
Monday October 3, 2011
I was up early while Dee got caught up on some much needed rest. Once we were both up we started off the day with food. For breakfast we went to Cafe Aquarius. I had pancakes, eggs, and corned beef hash and Dee had French toast, eggs and sausage. Everything here was good and it's a lot of food to eat. The service today was good and our waiter was funny.

Next up was some more video poker action. Things were choppy here at first but a few sets of aces and dealt quads helped turn things around into a positive session for us.

We walked over to the outlet mall to check out Burke's and see if there were any good deals. This place was picked through and not much was left but we did score Dee a nice pair of Ryka sneakers for $7.50 and I nabbed a pair of dress pants for a mere 75¢.

When we came back from shopping we took a break up in the room and ended up falling asleep for quite a while and then hit the casino for some more video poker action. Things were decent here with some aces and other quads but in the end we booked a small loss but were still ahead for the day. For some fun afterwards we took a shot at some penny games on the casino floor. I wasn't doing very well at this but Dee scored a bonus round worth almost $100 and saved the session.

For dinner tonight we went to buffet. I didn't understand why but tonight the buffet was $18.65 per person. I was lost by this as this buffet isn't worth half of that. Tonight everything was decent except for the price tag even though it's comped it's still tough to see this buffet priced like this.

After dinner we hit the video poker machines again. We started off with some single line dollars with no luck at all. Dee lost $100 and I lost $150 before we made the move back over to the triple play games. Things were choppy here especially for Dee but I caught on fire for a while running my meter up over $500 before things changed again. Dee ended her session even and I won a few bucks but the trend for the day hasn't been good so far.

Dee was tired and went up to bed but I was all hopped up on sugar and Coca-Cola so stayed up and played more. I got quite a bit of play but couldn't hit anything major. Most of the quads just kept me playing for a while. I got quite a bit of play out of my money but in the end dropped a few more bills. For some more fun I played some penny games doing pretty well hitting a few bonus rounds and after about an hour of playing these games cashed out even and called it a night around midnight.
