Day 10
Thursday October 6, 2011
We slept in today and then started off with some food at Cafe Sienna. I got a pork noodle soup off of the Chinese menu and Dee got breakfast with toast, eggs, hash browns and sausage. Everything was good here and were on our way quickly.

After we ate we went out to the Laundromat to grab our laundry and then stopped downtown to meet up with Yahtzee Mike at the 4 Queens. I had $60 in free play on my card from a mailer and Dee had $20. Her mailers don't show up to the house because the still have her old Canadian address but the free play was still loaded on her card. We played some single line video poker here the 9/6 jacks machines and did well. The only downfall was hitting 4 aces playing jacks! I hit a few quads and Dee hovered as always. Mike did ok too. Dee ran her free play out and put some money into the machine while I played the whole session on my free play. In the end Dee and I cashed out with a $92 win between us for the session.

We left the 4 Queens and came back up here to the Suncoast to get some action in up here and to earn enough points to get our play and eat vouchers again. We took a shot on the $1 games again and Dee instantly hit quad deuces. Things got tough for her after that though and she only cashed out with a $60 win for her mini session. That was a better result than mine though as I lost $110 for net $50 loss for 2 buffets. That's not how this was supposed to work (we weren't playing for comps though, we would have played anyway).

For dinner tonight we met up with friend Norm as well as Yahtzee Mike again fro the buffet. Tonight was German night or some Oktoberfest celebration as they had lots of German dishes available tonight. We spent quite a bit of time in here again tonight just eating and hanging out.

When we were done with dinner Norm and Mike left and we hit the casino again. We took another shot at the $1 video poker. Dee was doing her usual hovering but I wasn't doing so great. I finally popped a few quads to keep alive. We got to play for a while and then I had a crappy ending losing 11 hands in a row. We quit the VP session down $300 between us. It was too early to go to bed but we didn't want to get too beat up playing P so we took $40 between us and played some penny slots. We didn't start off well with one of us dropping our $20 but then shared the rest of the other ticket. Dee hit a $1 progressive on some blazing 7's game and then I hit a bonus within a bonus on Goldfish for almost $100. From here we were doing well on other games on the bonus rounds and wound up winning $200 on the penny games. One of my favorites to hit on some of these bonus rounds is when you win a larger amount and the machine makes a ton of noise and flashes BIG WIN on the screen and we were lucky enough to have a few of those.

When we were done playing we hit the Cafe for a late night snack. We ordered an appetizer sampler that had 2 each of the following: Chicken Fingers, Egg Rolls, Chicken Wings, and Mozzarella Sticks. The food was ok but it wasn't cooked long enough. One other thing to note is the Cafe here isn't 24 hours anymore. They are only open 7am - 11pm. I think this sucks but seems to be the trend at a lot of casinos these days. If you wanted food after 11pm they had a sign sending you to the Bagel place.

Around midnight we came up to the room and wound down before going to bed.

Total win/loss for the day - $100
Total Comps for the day $206
