Day 6
Sunday October 2, 2011
For breakfast today we used a special voucher that was given to us at check in fort he buffet. This is the special weekend buffet where invited guests get to eat in a special section of the dining room with cloth napkins and table cloths. There are also a few special items that aren't on the regular buffet.

After breakfast we played a session of video poker on the triple plays. Dee hit a quad right away and kept pounding away. I was getting killed and had to insert another bill pretty quickly. Things turned around for me after that getting dealt quad eights, pulling fours and a set of aces. Dee kept going and her meter was rising as was mine. She cashed out with a $200 win and I took away $150 for our first real winning session of the trip. The only question I had is, would it hold up?

We took a short break up in the room and then headed out to do some shopping over in Arizona to Beall's Outlet and gassed up the car and then came back over to Laughlin. When we were finished shopping we took a short break in the room and then hit the casino. We cashed out after a short session down a bit with Dee popping aces yet again and me getting killed.

For dinner tonight we went to Cafe Aquarius . I had the Prime Rib Dip with fries and Dee had the Signature Wrap and a vanilla milkshake. The foods here tonight were good and the service was extra friendly.

When we were done eating it was back to the video poker machines. Dee got killed quickly on her first bill and fed in a second before things leveled off for her. She was hitting quads and aces on a regular basis. I on the other and was feeding in bill after bill after bill. Dealt winners were sparse and quads were non-existent. I even took a shot at switching over to DDB hoping the quads would start coming. On some rough calculations I had run over 4k through the machines since my last quad and this is all on multi-line machines. Finally a few quads came through including fours and a set of aces, neither with kickers. I switched back to regular bonus poker and finished up the night down $300 while Dee finished up $100.

We got quite a bit of action in today and finished with decent results considering the swings I was going through. We finally gave up around midnight and came back to he room to wrap things up.

Total win/loss for the day $0
Total Comps for the day $93
