Well all, it finally happened! We are leaving for China on Wednesday the 16th of August and will be returning on the 4th of September. We plan to spend a few extra days in Beijing at the beginning of our trip and a few extra days at the end in Hong Kong. This is mainly to recoup after all of the travel and excitement.

Fly to Province on the morning of August 22nd, 2006

Get OLIVIA (GOTCHA DAY!) on August 23rd, 2006 (upon confirmation with the Beijing office)

Fly to Guangzhou on August 29th, 2006 or August 30th, 2006

American Consulate appointment on August 31st, 2006

Go to American Consulate to pick up passport with visa and take oath on the afternoon of September 1st, 2006

Depart China after 9:00pm (the earliest) on September 1st, 2006 or anytime September 2nd, 2006
