Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Grant Brockman, 6-1 Sr. Dakota Begley, 6-6 Fr. Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Sr. Terique Miller, and 6-2 Sr. John Williams. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-8 Sr. Braxton Upthegrove, and 5-9 Sr. JaQuise Simpson.
Henry Clay pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Madison Central 55-45. There were four lead changes and five ties in this game. Henry Clay shot 36.2% from the field including two of 16 from the three point line. Dakota Begley led Madison Central with 10 points and eight rebounds. Grant Brockman added 10 points including two three point baskets and three steals. John Williams recorded nine points and seven rebounds. Terique Miller chipped in with eight points and six rebounds. Isaiah Cozart displayed athleticism and potential with six points, nine rebounds, and eight blocked shots.
