Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Lauren Boehm, 5-10 So. Peyton Riddle, 6-0 So. Sydney Southerland, 5-5 Fr. Juliette Smith, and 5-8 Sr. Bailey Hawkins.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-6 Sr. Destiny Cozart, 5-5 Jr. Carah Burdette, 5-11 So. Gracie Baczkowski, 5-4 Sr. Ezhaunnai Ighodaro, and 5-5 Jr. Jlyn Martin.

 

Bryan Station led 54-50 after three quarters but Scott County rallied to earn a 71-65 victory.  There were eight lead changes and five ties in the game.  Scott County shot 42.4% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 40% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Bailey Hawkins added 20 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Lauren Boehm recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds.  Sydney Southerland chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Carah Burdette led Bryan Station with 25 points and five rebounds.  Destiny Cozart added 14 points and six rebounds.  Jlyn Martin also scored 14 points including four three point baskets.  5-8 Sr. Zariah Kavanaugh recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
