Christian Academy of Louisville coach Don Rice started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. China Dow, 5-8 Sr. Chalisa Helm, 6-0 Jr. Mckenzie Campbell, 5-7 Sr. Kate Joss, and 5-7 So. Brittany Mumford. Eastern coach Josh Leslie countered with 5-10 Jr. Madison Raque, 5-5 Sr. Taylor Bradley, 5-11 Fr. Markeia Porter, 5-4 Jr. Sydney Fone, and 5-5 Jr. Jade Spaulding.
CAL trailed 49-42 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Eastern by a score of 61-59. CAL shot 35.1% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Centurions connected on 19 of 33 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored eight points off 19 Eastern turnovers. Eastern shot 33.3% from the field including eight of 26 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 CAL turnovers.
China Dow led CAL with 33 points including 15 of 23 free throws, 14 rebounds, and six steals. Kate Joss added 16 points including four three point baskets.
Jade Spaulding led Eastern with 16 points including four three point baskets. Madison Raque added 15 points and six rebounds. Taylor Bradley chipped in with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Markeia Porter recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
