Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tony Martini, 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-7 Sr. Andrew Short, 6-0 Sr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-5 Sr. Darien Tichenor, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.

Henry Clay led 25-17 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County by a score of 71-51.  Henry Clay dominated the glass tonight holding an 18-2 advantage in second effort points.  Henry Clay shot 47.3% from the field including one of five from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 31.4% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 20 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Christen Cunningham added 15 points and five assists.  Trey Grundy chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.  6-2 So. Jeremiah Tisdale recorded seven points and nine rebounds.

Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 19 points.  Jalen Haddix added seven points and five rebounds.
