Jeffersontown coach Stephanie Kemp started the following lineup:  5-10 Jr. Kristen Martin, 5-11 Sr. Daphene Brown, 5-6 Sr. Cristy Calderon, 5-6 Sr. Alyx White, and 5-4 Sr. Janesha Ross.  Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans countered with 5-10 Sr. Morgan Doherty, 5-8 Fr. Erin Muthler, 6-0 So. Malerie Martin, 5-8 So. Hannah Bewley, and 5-8 Sr. Whitney Hartlage.

Mercy Academy raced out to a 21-5 first quarter lead on their way to a 69-22 victory over Jeffersontown.  Mercy shot 41.7% from the field including eight of 31 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored seven points off 27 Jeffersontown turnovers.  Jeffersontown shot 19.3% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Mercy turnovers.

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy with 17 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Morgan Doherty added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Malerie Martin chipped in with 13 points.

Kristen Martin led Jeffersontown with 11 points including seven of nine free throws and nine rebounds.  Daphene Brown added six points and 10 rebounds.
