What does the music mean to the listeners/ author???????????????
If you get something out of the lyrics of Kurt Cobain's, you are interpreting wrongly. Some quotes of Kurt's to prove this are on this page.
Most all texts are usually interpreted wrongly simply because the author doesn't describe what he means. But that is what reading is usually all about, isn't it? But what happens when the author himself interperets the text/ lyrics, in this case, Kurt interprets his lyrics just for you...

Granted, most writers do copy and paste a lot, but it really doesn't take much milk to do the body good to figure this one out -- does it???? -- Kurt is ever so correct on this one isn't he? He is correct, his PIECES of poetry usually don't have any meaning. After all, is there truly any meaning in boredom?

Let's look at this ignoramious statement and dissect it section by section.

Most bands or artists, at least in the so-called music genre of "alternative" certainly do feel that the lyrics ARE the most important thing. In other genres, such as jazz, clearly it is the music that is the most important aspect.

Since there are indeed two or three subjects Kurt wrote about in a given song... how can it make any sense whatsoever??????? Duh. It can't.

Yes. Gentleman and ladies of all ages, in the supposed poets own words, there is absolutely no meaning or theme, now is there.

Yes, duh and doy. There is no point in Kurt trying to analyze his own lyrics, because there is no POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is an example of severe misinterpreting...
Let's take the bible, or for that matter any religion, or religious beliefs. Beliefs of love and warmth and care for each other. Yet, if this is what they are supposed preaching, then how come there are so many wars and so much hatred because of religion and the bible???????????
