Five-week Intensive Summer Program:
The YPW Summer Intensive is one of few professional programs that offers formal classroom training as well as production experience for young people. Once registered students are guaranteed a part in at least one production and, depending on ability, experience, desire and commitment level, could feasibly appear in three or four. Classes are broken down by level of ability not age. The classroom curriculum is comprised of Required Classes and Electives and gives students approximately 15 hours of study in theatre arts each week in addition to the rehearsals and production experience.

Rehearsal/Production Process
Students have approximately three to six hours of rehearsal daily depending on whether they are attending full or half days. The rehearsals are under the guidance and direction of theatre professionals, and culminate in three to five full-scale productions as well as numerous class demonstrations presented to the general public during the final week of the summer program.
