The class focuses on group singing. Includes concentration on carrying individual harmony parts as well as group choral dynamics. Vocal production is strengthened through rudimentary breathing and vocal blending exercises. Students learn traditional choral pieces as well as chorus numbers from standard Boradway show scores. Skills learned are valuable for both the accomplished singer as well as the actor/singer and the dancer/singer. (Elective, 2 hrs.)
