Remember the name... Wayne Rooney. These words were said straight after Rooney smashed a shot 25 yards out bar and in, to end Arsenals 30 match unbeaten run.

Young Wayne, Only 16 years old (17 on 24th October 2002) has already caught the worlds attention, with world class managers hailing him as one of the worlds best players. You may think am crazy, saying a 16 year old is that good, but any football fan with a general knowledge of the game will tell you the same.

Wayne, who is the youngest player to score for Everton, aswell as being the youngest player to score in the premier league, recently beating Michael Owens record, is to sign a 3 year contract with an extra 2 years optional in December.

At youth level, he scored 8 in 8 games, aswell as being a FA Youth Cup runner-up with Everton youth team.

Rooney combines an eye for goal with blistering pace and strength, factors which have seen him step up Academy levels from playing for Everton’s Under 19 side aged just fifteen.

Wayne travelled to Austria in pre-season with the first team squad and scored a hat-trick in Everton’s 10-2 win over SC Weiz.
