Niclas joined the Blues after a disappointing previous season with Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls were relegated from the Premiership, and straight away there were a sudden flood for his signarture.

Niclas is a regular for his country, he traveled to Japan and Korea in the summer of 2002 to take part in the World Cup Finals, where he scored the equalising goal against England in the group stages of the tournament.

Niclas took part in 28 games last season and played very well throughout them all

Niclas has tremendous skill and has a mind of his own, he is well known for his quick thinking and his blistering pace, a regular for both Everton and Sweden.
