Dear Friends,

Jesus said, Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet?s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is righteous will receive a righteous man?s reward. And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones to drink because he is a disciple amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward. Matthew 10:37 42

 

I give you again another message from Our Lord and Savior addressed to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words, I wish to play a great role in your life but you have to invite Me into your heart. Open your heart wide to Me so I can enter and make My home there at the centre of your heart. I also ask you to put Me first in your life. You have to love Me more than your father or mother or your children. You are not to put any person ahead of Me or you are not worthy of Me.

I call you to lose your life in Me and surely you will find it. Be reborn in Me, Your Savior, and you will live in My light. If you receive Me, you also receive My Father who is in heaven. We will lead you on your way to heaven. You will be rewarded for all you do for others even if you only give a cup of water to drink.

During this time of Lent, I call you to be more prayerful and to come to Church often to receive Me in Holy Communion. I want you to change your life to live in close union with Me. Detach yourself from the attractions of the world, and do not let yourself fall into sin by saying ?yes? to the temptations of the evil one. I suffered and died for you so that you'd be My follower and take up your cross daily and follow Me. If you fall, I will help you to get up. I am Your Redeemer and Friend.

The most Reverend Father Melvin never ceases to inform me of all what you do for me, concerning my forthcoming formation at the University of Saint Paul in Ottawa where this year's fall course will being on September 9, 2009.

This truly touches my heart since these studies will help in solving the conflicts which form most of our societies. Even if the amount has not yet attained the required sum, your good will shows your keen interest in this matter-the formation of a person, a servant of Christ, who could then help others through his priestly vocation.

By your generosity you thus contribute to the betterment of our societies to build a better civilization. Let me tell you how I pray to Our Lord Jesus-for your good heart-while celebrating the Eucharist each day, for Him to inundate you and all your loved ones with His numerous graces.

Feb 27 - ASK THEN, FOR ALL THAT YOU NEED

The following message was given to Marija while she was in America in Nov.1988 :

"I invite you to pray and to give yourselves completely to God. I will give you strength and help you whenever you are in need; ask then, for all that you need, for I will intercede for you in God's presence. " (Special Message November 23,1988).

While trusting Our Lady to give us all that we need, we will find at the same time that our trust in God will grow ever stronger :

The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,

A stronghold in times of trouble.

And those who know

your name put their trust in you,

For you, O Lord,

have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9

Reflection :

The Lord never forsakes those who seek and trust him; nor can Our Lady, who is forever faithful as her Son. Although loss of suffering may wound us deeply, our God is as close as a whispered prayer. We can trust him to heal us.

This is the spirit of trust that John Cardinal Newman expressed in the following prayer :

"God created me to do him some definite service; he has committed some work to me which he has not committed to another. I have my mission?I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next.

I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught. I shall do good. I shall do his work. I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth in my own place while not intending it?if I do but keep his commandments.

Whatever, wherever I am, I can never be thrown away. If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve him; in perplexity, my perplexity may serve him; if I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve him. He does nothing in vain. He knows what he is about. He may take away my friends, he may throw me among strangers, he may make me feel desolate, make my spirits sink, hide my

future from me, still he knows what he is about. Therefore I will trust him.

Applications :

Simply reflect on Cardinal Newman's prayer once more today. You may wish to offer it especially in anxious or troubled times.

Our Lady speaks of peace in this monthly message:

"Dear Children, today I thank you and I want to invite you all to God's peace. I want each of you to experience, in your heart, this peace which only God can give. I bless you with God's blessing and beseech you to live, dear children, in the way I have shown you.

I love you, dear children, which is why I do not count the number of times I have called you-and continue to call you.

I thank you for all you have done according to my wishes. Help me, please, that I may present you to God and guide you to salvation. "(Monthly Message June 25, 1987).

And in John's gospel, Christ gives his peace to his disciples

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. (Jn 14 :26-27)

Reflection:

The effect of the Holy Spirit's work in our lives is often a deep and lasting peace. Unlike the world's peace, which is only the absence of conflict, this peace lives in us as a confident assurance in all circumstances. With Christ's peace, we have no need to fear the past, present, or future.

Application:

Reflect today on this line from the philosopher Baruch Spinoza: "Peace is not an absence of war; it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence, confidence, and justice."

Dear Friends,

Jesus said, Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father. Matthew 10:26 33

Following is the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Joseph. Jesus spoke to him these words, There will be persecutions of My followers but do not be afraid of them. These persecutors do the work of the evil one and they are like those who persecuted Me during My public life.

These evil people can only kill the body but they cannot touch your soul. You should be afraid of God who can destroy both the soul and body in hell. Remember, you are worth much in the eyes of the Father. The Father, the Holy Spirit and I love you all with infinite love and We give you all the graces you need.

I call you all to be men and women of faith who are not afraid to acknowledge Me before the people. Express your belief in Me as the Son of God who came to suffer and die in order to redeem you from your sins. If you acknowledge Me before others, I will acknowledge you before My Father in heaven.

I am your greatest friend who never leaves you and strengthens you to fight the good fight till the end. With Me you can conquer the evil one and grow in holiness every day of your life.

Be a true example of a faithful follower of mine. Do not rely on yourself but rely on Me and you will succeed. Do the will of your Heavenly Father and you will be blessed by Him. Forgive all those who hurt you and I will forgive you all your sins. I love you.
