After Homer is cyberrobbed of the family's vacation money, they learn of Chuck Garabedian's Mega-Savings Seminar. Using tips from the seminar, the Simpsons devise a way to take an inexpensive trip to Japan. In Japan, Bart and Homer attend a Sumo match where Bart smack a wrestler in the face with a chair and Homer tosses the Japanese emperor in a soiled Sumo thong receptacle. Bart and Homer are thrown in jail. After the family pays their bail, they're left with a single piece of currency, a one-million-yen bill. Homer demonstrates for Lisa the origami he learned in prison by folding it into a "lucky" crane, and the bill flies away in the wind. The Simpsons get jobs working as fish gutters to earn money for tickets back home. At the factory, they watch a game show on television that grants wishes to families. The next day, the family goes on the show hoping to win plane tickets back to Springfield. They are repeatedly humiliated, on the show, but ultimately, their wish is granted. The plane is briefly attacked by Godzilla before they begin the long trpi home. |
