After Homer sees Ned Flanders use a senior discount card, he accuses Flanders of being a cheat. Flanders says that he is a senior; in fact, he's sixty years old. Flanders says that his ultra-clean living has helped him stay young. But after reflecting on it, Flanders realizes that his clean living has also made him predictable and boring. He enlists Homer to teach him how to have fun. Homer, in turn, takes Flanders to Las Vegas. There, Homer volunteers for Captain Lance Murdock's attempt to jump over an audience member. Ned is astounded. Homer goes on to teach Flanders how to gamble and even convinces him to drink alcohol. They wake up the next morning in their trashed hotel suite and discover that during their bender, they both married cocktail waitresses. After trying to find an honorable way to get out of the situation, they both opt to ditch their new wives. the head of security at the casino gets wind of this and does what he can do to foil their escape. Homer and Flanders get stopped on their way out of the hotel and are savagely beaten by casino security, Drederick Tatum, the Moody Blues, and Ernst and Gunter. Kicked out of Vegas, Homer and Flanders start their long walk home. |
