September 8th - GAME #144 vs Colorado Rockies (59-84)
Jon Niese (8-10) vs Jordan Lyles (6-2) The Mets start a 10 game home stand at Citi Field.

Jon Niese pitched well in this one, scattering 8 hits and allowing a solo home run in the 2nd. With the Rockies leading 2-1 in the ninth, the Mets rallied to score the tying and winning runs and pull out a walk off victory. A double, triple and a sacrifice fly put the Mets on top and kept them ahead of the Phillies in the division's cellar.
I got a call this morning from Mets ticketing and received a copy of the 2015 Mets schedule. I have been waiting for this day so I can plan my trip next year. I excitedly perused the dates and teams coming to Citi. I will write more on that later. I spent the afternoon watching the game and was surprised to see the Mets snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in the bottom of the ninth.
