This afternoon, just Frankie and I ventured out to do a bit of shopping. We wore our Mickey Mouse ponchos and a lady told him that he had Mickey on the back of his poncho and he told her that his Mama did, too! He was unbelievably well-behaved in the stores. The clerks were hugging and kissing him making a real fuss, but he stayed close to me. I think he was shocked by their reaction to him. One place even gave him a gift for being so good! Another place we went into had a "hot cellie" - Toy Cell Phone according to the Lorenzes :). He wanted it so badly. He is constantly trying to talk on mine. So I went to buy it for him, but it was pink and had Barbie on it and the clerk did not want him to have it! He kept saying to Frankie, "It's for girls!" But Frankie won out and the clerk sold it to us.

When we got back to the hotel they presented us with an "Adopt a Chinese Baby Barbie!" He wasn't too interested in that, but I thought it was a sweet gesture on the part of the White Swan.

For dinner, a bunch of us traveled down the road to Lucy's Cafe....Lucy's American Cafe! We were thrilled to eat Western food! Frankie had his first ever hamburger and fries. He really enjoyed them....plus a little girl's corn, plus Leland's chicken skewer, plus some of Mom's pesto, plus some of Auntie Charlotte's chicken finger! By the way, Dad, he likes spicy food!
