It is FAMILY DAY! The adoption is complete! We signed the paperwork this morning! He told the guide that he is very happy because his mama is a nice lady! He keeps trying to pronouce "I love you"....he is just too cute!

Dad, it seems as though he is a lefty! Boy, this kid has more Dardano traits then you can believe. He definitely is trying to test his limits. And when he knows that he has done something naughty, he runs right over to try to kiss and hug me and call me "Mama." I know, I know, Patti, "Welcome to Motherhood!"

At lunch today the people at the restaurant asked if he was my natural son because we look alike. When they asked him he just ran over to me and told them I was his "Mama." Unfortunately, after lunch Jane is leaving us. I am so happy she was here. She made everything a bit easier.

Right now he is upstairs taking a nap....I think I need it more than him. We are trying to have a quiet afternoon at the hotel so he can settle down a bit.

I apologize if this seems a bit disjointed. In the past week I have only had about 15 hours of sleep! I better sign off before he wakes up and I am not there....
