Today did not begin well. Frankie was really out of sorts and fresh this morning. Poor little guy, he has had so many changes and so much to deal with. We had tears at breakfast and it took him awhile to warm back up, but he did.
We went to McDonald's for lunch and Frankie had his first ever Happy Meal. He really enjoyed the hamburger and fries.
 He did not like the ice cream cone, though. I think it was just too cold for him.
 After lunch we went to the zoo. Frankie did not feel like walking and kept lying on the ground....lovely! He perked up a bit when we went to see the monkeys. There was a glass barrier around them which my son licked.... disgusting! We were actually able to go into the cage and feed the monkeys for a small fee. Frankie was a bit apprehensive about it.
 He did pretty well until the monkey keeper put a piece of food on his head and a monkey snatched it off. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the door right away! I can't say as I blame him! I was thrilled to see the Giant Panda. Unfortunatly, the panda was so lazy it wouldn't even get up for pictures! The keeper tried to tickle and poke him with some bamboo, but no dice. Oh well, at least I can say I saw a panda in China!
 Shopping and dinner at the American Cafe! Tomorrow is our big trip to the consulate!
