Tipton (20-7) vs. Linton-Stockton (26-1) Class 2A
Tipton coach Chad Wetz started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Abigail Parker, 5-9 Jr, Olivia Spidel, 6-3 So. Ashlee Schram, 5-7 Jr. Ella Wolfe, and 5-9 Jr. Macy Earl. Linton-Stockton coach Jared Rehmel countered with 6-0 Sr. Haley Rose, 5-9 Jr. Jaylee Hayes, 6-0 Jr. Gentry Warrick, 5-6 Sr. Aubrey Burgess, and 5-9 Sr. Vanessa Shafford.
Linton-Stockton raced out to a 19-8 on their way to a decisive 63-25 victory over Tipton and repeat as the Class 2A champion. Linton-Stockton shot 50% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Miners connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 26 Tipton turnovers. Tipton shot 16.7% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on nine of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Linton-Stockton turnovers.
Haley Rose led Linton-Stockton with 24 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocked shots. Vanessa Shafford added 13 points including five of six free throws, eight rebounds, seven assists, and five steals. Jaylee Hayes recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Aubrey Burgess chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals.
Ella Wolfe led Tipton with eight points. Ashlee Schram added six points, 16 rebounds, and two steals. Abigail Parker recorded six points and five rebounds.

Saturday February 27th
Pioneer (24-4) vs. Loogootee (20-4) Class A
Pioneer coach Jeff Brooke started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Madison Blickenstaff, 5-10 Sr. Olivia Brooke, 6-0 Fr. Brooklynn Borges, 5-5 Sr. Mackenzie Walker, and 5-6 Jr. Hailey Cripe. Loogootee coach Brian Smith countered with 5-8 Sr. Makenzie VanHoy, 5-8 Sr. Brooklynn Jones, 5-10 Jr. Kylie VanHoy, 5-5 Sr. Isabelle Waggner, and 5-6 Sr. Kalea Fleming.
5-6 So. Ashlynn Brooke hit a jump shot with seven seconds left on the clock to give Pioneer a 43-42 lead and Mackenzie Walker recorded a late steal to ensure the victory. This was Pioneer’s first state championship and avenged a loss to Loogootee in last year’s championship game. There were seven lead changes and five ties in this game. Pioneer shot 43.2% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Panthers connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Loogootee turnovers. Loogootee shot 37.8% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lions connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Pioneer turnovers.
Olivia Brooke led Pioneer with 13 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Hailey Cripe added 12 points on four three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals. 5-6 So. Ashlynn Brooke recorded 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Madison Blickenstaff chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Kylie VanHoy led Loogootee with 18 points, two steals, and three blocked shots.. Brooklynn Jones added 12 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four assists. Makenzie VanHoy recorded six points, three rebounds, and two assists. Kalea Fleming chipped in with four points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

South Bend Washington (22-5) vs. Silver Creek (24-3) Class 3A
South Bend Washington coach Steven Reynolds started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Mia Reynolds, 6-0 So. Amiyah Reynolds, 6-5 Sr. Francisca Galicia, 5-8 So. Rashaunda Jones, and 5-10 Jr. Shamarah Allen. Silver Creek coach Scott Schoen countered with 5-11 Sr. Jaclyn Emly, 5-10 Sr. Alana Striverson, 6-1 Sr. Marissa Gasaway, 5-8 Jr. Kynidi Striverson, and 5-9 Jr. Emme Rooney.
Silver Creek who entered the tournament as the top ranked team in Class 3A captured their first championship with a 54-48 victory over South Bend Washington. Silver Creek shot 38.8% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Dragons connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 South Bend Washington. South Bend Washington shot 33.3% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Panthers connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Silver Creek turnovers.
Marissa Gasaway led Silver Creek with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Alana Striverson added 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Kynidi Striverson recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Emme Rooney chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and three assists. Jaclyn Emly added five points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Mia Reynolds led South Bend Washington with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Rashaunda Jones added 13 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Shamarah Allen recorded nine points and four steals. Amiyah Reynolds chipped in with four points, four rebounds, and seven assists.

Crown Point (24-1) vs. Brownsburg (17-10) Class 4A
Crown Point coach Chris Seibert started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Allie Govert, 5-8 Jr. Alyvia Santiago, 6-4 Jr. Lilly Stoddard, 5-7 Jr. Jessica Carrothers, and 5-7 Sr. Alyna Santiago, Brownsburg coach Debbie Smiley countered with 5-11 Jr. Novalee Glass, 5-8 Sr. Ally Becki, 6-2 So. Quinci Thomas, 5-3 Jr. Mya Webb, and 5-6 Jr. Kiera Guckenberger.
Brownsburg raced out to a 19-10 first quarter lead on the strength of 72.7% from the field but Crown Point outscored Brownsburg 14-0 to take a 24-19 halftime lead on their way to a 44-34 victory. Crown Point shot 40.5% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line. The Bulldogs connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Brownsburg turnovers. Brownsburg shot 31.1% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on two of eight free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored five points off five Crown Point turnovers.
Jessica Carrothers led Crown Point with 25 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Alyvia Santiago led eight points including two three point baskets. Lilly Stoddard recorded five points, 12 rebounds, and two assists.
Ally Becki led Brownsburg with 19 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two steals. Novalee Glass added 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Quinci Thomas recorded three points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.
