Harlan coach Tiffany Hamm started the following lineup: 5-9 8th Grade Kylie Noe, 5-8 Fr. Faith Hoskins, 5-10 Fr. Aymanni Wynn, 5-4 So. Emma Owens, and 5-4 Sr. Alli Thompson.  Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Fr. Bailey Hensley, 5-10 Sr. Raelynn Miller, 5-11 Sr. Gretchen Hammitt, 5-5 Sr. Brianna Bierbaum, and 5-4 So. Eve Carter.

 

Madison Central trailed 19-18 after three quarters as a result of being outscored 10-0 by Harlan in the third quarter but rallied for a 35-30 victory.  Madison Central shot 22% from the field including four of 20 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 28 Harlan turnovers.  Harlan shot 27.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Dragons connected on 10 of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.

 

5-4 8th Grade Nataya Strader led Madison Central with seven points and three steals.  Brianna Bierbaum added six points on two three point baskets and four rebounds.  5-5 8th Grade Eden Carter recorded six points, two rebounds, and three steals.  Eve Carter chipped in with five points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  Bailey Hensley added five points, three rebounds, and three steals.  5-4 8th Grade Brittany Campbell recorded four points and four rebounds.

 

Kylie Noe led Harlan with 16 points including six of 10 free throws and 11 rebounds.  Emma Owens added nine points including four of six free throws.  Aymanni Wynn recorded three points and 14 rebounds.
