Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson. Washington County coach Stephen Woodson countered with 6-5 Sr. Jakobie Hughes, 6-3 8th Grade Gabriel Weis, 6-8 So. Beau Baker, 6-0 So. Kamar Phillips, and 6-2 So. Noah Reynolds.
Madison Southern defeated Washington County by the score of 80-69. Madison Southern shot 50.9% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line. Jakobie Hughes recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. Beau Baker chipped in with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Gabriel Weis added eight points and four rebounds.
