Kathleen Scott 5-11 Jr. Raegan Williams, 5-4 Jr. Alyssa Peak, and 5-4 Jr. Lauren Masden.  Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Jr. Josie Woods, 5-9 Fr. Raquael Reese, 6-2 So. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-3 Sr. Jessica Laemmle, and 5-4 Sr. Madi Woods.

 

Bullitt East defeated Mercy Academy by a score of 50-45.  Bullitt East shot 46.1% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and did not score on nine Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 27.5% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off 20 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Kirstie Henn led Bullitt East with 11 points and six rebounds.  Kathleen Scott added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Alyssa Peak chipped in with seven points and four rebounds.

 

5-9 Jr. Sadie Zeisloft led Mercy Academy with 11 points and four rebounds.  Jessica Laemmle added nine points and five rebounds.  Madi Woods chipped in with eight points.  Josie Woods chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and four steals.

Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Sr. Terique Miller, and 6-2 Sr. John Williams.

 

Madison Central outscored West Jessamine 27-14 in the final quarter to earn a 73-63 come-from-behind victory.  The score was tied eight times and there were 13 lead changes in the game.  Madison Central shot 51.1% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 21 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 35.9% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Terique Miller led Madison Central with 15 points including seven of eight free throws, six rebounds, and four assists.  Isaiah Cozart added 14 points, 16 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Grant Brockman also scored 14 points including six of six free throws.  John Williams recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  5-10 Sr. Seth Richardson chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.

 

Isaiah Okesson led West Jessamine with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Siah Holifield added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Bradley Tullar chipped in with nine points.

DuPont Manual defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 70-60.  The score was tied two times and there were six lead changes.  Manual shot 37% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven CAL turnovers.  Manual held a 21-7 advantage in second chance points.  CAL shot 32.8% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Manual turnovers.

 

Jaela Johnson led Manual with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Krys McCune added 13 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Tonysha Curry recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds.  5-11 Fr. Nila Blackford chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.  5-10 So. Aniah Griffin added eight points and nine rebounds.

 

Emma Wesley led CAL with 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Shelby Calhoun added 15 points and 10 rebounds.  Summer Conti recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Bourbon County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 64-58.  Bourbon County shot 53.7% from the field including 10 of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Colonels connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored six points off three Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.3% from the field including 10 of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Bourbon County turnovers.

 

5-6 Fr. Kennedy Kelly came off the bench to lead Bourbon County with 20 points including six three point baskets and four assists.  Haleigh Yazell added 12 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists.  Chariss Wilson recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.  Rose Mason chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Caroline Osbourn led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including seven of seven free throws and nine assists.  Ashley Frebis added 18 points including four three point baskets.  Sarah Bonn chipped in with 14 points.

Frankfort captured a 69-65 overtime victory over Bryan Station.  There were nine lead changes and seven ties in this game.  Frankfort shot 36.7% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on 26 of 39 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 45.3% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Frankfort turnovers. 

 

Malik Frank led Frankfort with 19 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Anthony Robinson added 15 points and 12 rebounds.  DeShawn Newton recorded 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Cody Carter chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets.

Madison Central erased an eight point deficit in the third quarter to notch a 55-52 come-from-behind victory over Clay County.  Mallie Cornett scored an old fashioned three point play in the closing minute to give Madison Central the lead.  Madison Central shot 41.8% from the field including one of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on eight of 10 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Clay County shot 35.8% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Tigers connected on seven of eight free throws and pulled down 33 rebounds.

 

5-4 So. Bailee Vanover led Madison Central with 18 points.  5-10 Jr. Lindsey Johns added 10 points.  6-0 Jr. Mallie Cornett recorded eight points and seven blocked shots.  5-10 Jr. Charity Mack chipped in with seven points and six rebounds and 5-4 Sr. Emily Willoughby also scored seven points.

 

5-9 8th Grade  Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 25 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Kelli Roberts added 18 points including four three point baskets and 13 rebounds.
