Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Courtney Bailey, 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-5 Fr. Ashley Frebis, and 5-7 Fr. Jay Ballard.  Russell County coach Craig Pippen countered with 5-9 Jr. Kaitlyn Coffey, 5-9 Fr. Madelyn Preston, 6-2 So. LaShaya Carman, 5-4 So. Amelia Ackerman, and 5-6 Fr. Addison Loy.

 

Russell County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 66-50.  Russell County shot 56.5% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Lakers connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 34.6% from the field including nine of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored three points off seven Russell County turnovers.

 

Kaitlyn Coffey led Russell County with 17 points, six rebounds, and 12 assists.  LaShaya Carman added 16 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Addison Loy chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets.  Amelia Ackerman added nine points.

 

Caroline Osbourn led Lexington Catholic with 14 points including three three point baskets.  Sarah Bonn added 13 points and five rebounds.  Jay Ballard recorded 11 points including two three point baskets.  5-7 Fr. Maylo Given chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

Caroline Osbourn led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Jay Ballard added 12 points on four three point baskets.  5-6 So. Maya Jazdzewski chipped in with seven points.

Manual outscored Sacred Heart 26-10 in the third quarter on their way to a 69-52 victory.  Manual controlled the boards tonight and held a 20-10 advantage in second chance points.  Manual shot 42.6% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 32.7% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Manual turnovers.

 

Krystalline McCune led Manual with 19 points and 18 rebounds.  Tonysha Curry added 14 points and 13 rebounds.  Jaela Johnson also reached double figures with 10 points.

Henry Clay defeated Madison Central by a score of 51-33.  Henry Clay shot 30% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Henry Clay attempted 32 more shots (65-33) from the field than Madison Central and held an 11-1 advantage in second effort points.  Madison Central shot 21.2% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 19 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  5-9 Sr. Jordyn Jackson added nine points and nine rebounds.  Nakeisha Green recorded four points and 13 rebounds.

Coach Jeff Jackson collected his 500th coaching victory tonight as Lincoln County defeated Bryan Station 44-43 in a thriller.  Lincoln County shot 42.9% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Patriots connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 43.2% from the field including five of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off six Lincoln County turnovers.

 

Wade Goode led Lincoln County with 18 points and four steals.  Noah Young added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Devin Alcorn recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

 

Andre Davis led Bryan Station with 12 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and three steals.  David DeMarcus added 11 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Terrance Murphy recorded eight points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Michael Moreno led Scott County with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Cooper Robb added 20 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Glenn Covington and Bryce Long chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively.  Cooper Watts recorded five points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.
