West Jessamine vs. Madison Central (Boys)

West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Siah Holifield, 6-3 Jr. Bradley Tullar, 6-4 Sr. Wells Ducas, 5-8 Jr. John Davis, and 5-10 Jr. Isaiah Okesson.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-1 Sr. Grant Brockman, 6-1 Sr. Dakota Begley, 6-6 Fr. Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Sr. Terique Miller, and 6-2 Sr. John Williams.

 

Madison Central outscored West Jessamine 27-14 in the final quarter to earn a 73-63 come-from-behind victory.  The score was tied eight times and there were 13 lead changes in the game.  Madison Central shot 51.1% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 21 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 35.9% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Terique Miller led Madison Central with 15 points including seven of eight free throws, six rebounds, and four assists.  Isaiah Cozart added 14 points, 16 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Grant Brockman also scored 14 points including six of six free throws.  John Williams recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists.  5-10 Sr. Seth Richardson chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.

 

Isaiah Okesson led West Jessamine with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Siah Holifield added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Bradley Tullar chipped in with nine points.
