Seneca coach Josh Leslie started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Marcus Railey, 6-0 Jr. Joshua Lewis, 6-4 Jr. Elijah Price, 5-10 Sr. Darian Floyd, and 5-10 Sr. Delshawn Simms. Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall countered with 6-1 Sr. Jack Preston, 6-1 Fr. Andersen Green, 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 5-10 Fr. Hagan Preston, and 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus.
Seneca defeated LCA by the score of 56-48. The score was tied six times and there were four lead changes in the game. Seneca shot 46.3% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line. The Redhawks connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 40.8% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Seneca turnovers.
Joshua Lewis led a balanced Seneca scoring attack with 15 points and three steals. Delshawn Simms added 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Darian Floyd recorded 11 points including three three point baskets. Elijah Price chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.
Tyler Hall led LCA with 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Andersen Green added nine points on three three point baskets. 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby recorded nine points, five rebounds, and two assists. 6-4 Sr. Pierce Ragland chipped in with eight points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
