Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-8 So. Lydia Vanmeter, 5-8 Jr.Ella Kirlew, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Emily Johnson.  Knott County Central coach Jeff Honeycutt countered with 5-8 Jr. Abby Maggard, 5-7 Sr. Brooke Mason, 5-9 Sr. Kelsey Noble, 5-3 So. Kylie Gayheart, and 5-2 Jr. Ally Hall.

 

Henry Clay defeated Knott County Central by the score of 60-51.  There were five lead changes and 10 ties in this game.  Henry Clay shot 44.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Knott County Central.  Knott County Central shot 36.2% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

5-7 So. Alli Stone led Henry Clay with 27 points including two three point baskets, nine of 12 free throws, and 10 rebounds.  Ariyanna Sutton added 17 points including six of six free throws, three rebounds, and four assists.  Lydia Vanmeter recorded 14 points and six rebounds.

 

Abby Maggard led Knott County Central with 17 points including four of five free throws and three assists.  5-9 So. Haley Combs added six points and two rebounds.  Kelsey Noble recorded four points and six rebounds.
