1st Annual Adams Buick GMC Holiday Hoopfest

Boyle County coach Ryan Wiersma started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. Kendra Christopher, 5-8 Jr. Ella Coffey, 5-10 So. Peyton Bugg, 5-2 Jr. Zoey Robbins, and 5-6 So. Annabelle Tarter.  Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 So. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Eden Carter, 5-9 Sr. Kessaney Melton, 5-6 Fr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Fr. Nataya Strader.

 

Madison Central defeated Boyle County by the score of 51-40.  Madison Central shot 44% from the field including one of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 18 Boyle County turnovers.  Boyle County shot 34.1% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Madison Central turnovers.

 

Bailey Hensley led Madison central with 23 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Hensley was 10 of 14 from the field and three of four from the free throw line.  Nataya Strader added 13 points, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Eden Carter recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

 

Peyton Bugg led Boyle County with 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists.  Zoey Robbins added 11 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.  Kendra Christopher recorded nine points on three three point baskets.  Ella Coffey chipped in with two points, nine rebounds, and two steals.

Bailey Hensley (Madison Central) was named Chad Tate Shelter Insurance Player of the Game.
