Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 6-1 Jr. Micah Glenn.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Romero, 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-11 Jr. Jayd Huynh, and 6-0 Sr. Logan Taylor. 

 

Scott County shot a blistering 71% from the field in the first half to take a 52-22 lead on their way to an 86-46 victory over Lafayette.  Scott County shot 61.4% from the field including 14 of 23 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 36.4% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored five points off five Scott County turnovers.

 

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 20 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes added 17 points and four rebounds.  6-4 So. Lamarion McGrapth recorded 13 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  JZ Middleton chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, six assists, and two steals.

 

Abe Nelson led Lafayette with 18 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman added nine points and six rebounds.  Jayd Huynh recorded seven points and four assists.
