South Laurel coach Jeff Davis started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Brayden Reed, 6-1 Jr. Eli Gover, 6-6 Sr. Rhys England, 5-11 So. Ashton Garland, and 6-0 Jr. Parker Payne.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Jr. Drew Marshall, 6-4 Jr. Braden Welch, 6-6 Jr. Gavin Salva, 5-11 Sr. Hogan Price, and 6-3 Jr. Daniel Waters.

South Laurel defeated West Jessamine by the score of 57-45.  South Laurel shot 52.2% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 22 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 43.9% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 South Laurel turnovers.

Eli Gover led a balanced South Laurel scoring attack with 13 points and three steals.  Parker Payne added 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Brayden Reed recorded 12 points, three rebounds, and five steals.  6-2 Jr. Caden Jones chipped in with 10 points and three rebounds.  Rhys England added five points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Daniel Waters led West Jessamine with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Braden Welch added 11 points including three three point baskets, three assists, and two steals.  Drew Marshall recorded nine points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
