Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Belle Bach, 5-10 Jr. Emilee Eggleston, 6-0 Sr. Sereniti Webb, 5-4 Sr. Alexis Baker, and 5-4 7th Grade Brynli Pernell.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Tyra Young, 5-7 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, 6-1 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-5 Jr. Kelsie Hall, and 5-10 8th Grade Kierstin Young.

 

Simon Kenton defeated Scott County by the score of 71-30.  Simon Kenton shot 45.0% from the field including 10 of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Pioneers connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 34 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 24% from the field including two of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 20 Simon Kenton turnovers.

 

5-5 So. Rylie Flynn led Simon Kenton with 15 points, three rebounds, and three steals.  Sereniti Webb added 12 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Emilee Eggleston recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  5-10 8th Grade Anna Kelch chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.

 

Kenady Tompkins led Scott County with 12 points and nine rebounds.  Maleiyah Moore pulled down eight rebounds and recorded three steals.
